So, as I mentioned a week or so ago, a few of my photog buddies and I started a new project. The project, Click Of The Wild! Each one of us are given a specific assignment with a word. This word which we call our "Focus". Then as a photographer, we try to capture how we interpret this particular focus. This weeks focus: "Light". So after debating back and forth between which image I wanted to feature, ultimately I chose this one below.
This image came to me one afternoon shortly after I got home from work. And after a few shots, the is what I came up with...The Cross with His light and the 23rd Psalm.
However, over the last couple of weeks, I have played around with my camera trying out other techniques and subjects with different forms of light. Here are some of the others that were in the running.
My big girl with her own little bit of light!

Okay, so this next image was taken last Christmas but I have always loved it and thought of it as soon as I found out what our Focus was for this weeks challenge.

Sometimes, as a photographer we tend to think of all these elaborate places that we'd like to shoot. Then, there are times like this when we find a jackpot right in our backyard. This next image is a local church and on this night, it was perfect. After celebrating my birthday dinner with just my immediate family, we walked around downtown Monroe and I played around with my camera, shooting out of my comfort zone...night photography! It was wonderful!
