Back in June I had a "giveaway".  It was a free photography session to one particular family who had their name entered the most times on our Facebook business page.  Well, the winner was this pretty family!  When photographing young children, you never know how long the session will take.  I have found that you have to work on their time table and not be in too big of a hurry to capture "the" moment.  Many times, the best pictures are when everyone just relaxes and lets the children play.  But to keep it real, their are also those moments when the parents (and photographer) put on a silly dance, sing off tune or even will make goofy, bubbly noises to achieve those happy expressions.  I'll admit, I'm not above any of it to get the shots!!!  Ha! 

While I was photographing this family, they made it super easy to get their pictures.  Both Jax and baby Genevieve just went with whatever we suggested, making my job super easy!  However, Ginny & Kyle played played a big part in helping out as well.  In the end, we ended up with some pretty sweet pictures, no matter how we achieved the expressions.  Here are some of my favorites from our afternoon together.
