In this post, these next few photos are favorites of mine. In fact, a series of these pictures hang over my bed in our bedroom.
On a hot summer afternoon a few of years back, I was piddling in my house and the image of a rusty, abandoned tricycle that was in a wooded area behind our house came to mind. But only this time, the image of the abandoned tricycle, included my girl. So without even changing her out of her holey jeans or running a brush through her tangled hair, I grabbed my camera and out we went to bring life to the vintage image I had so recently given thought to. And to this day, I treasure the simplistic feel of each of these images. After publishing the first image on my previous blog, I was asked if I would donate the first image to a silent auction fundraiser. In the process, a "name" was needed for the piece. The name that came to mind was again, very simple..."Childhood Days". Now you know the meaning behind the title.
