"Houston, We Have a Problem" ...

June 19, 2012  •  3 Comments

Whenever I hear those words, "Houston, We Have a Problem", I automatically go into panic mode.  Knowing that the issue at hand is big, like as in catastrophic BIG!  Okay, so maybe I'm being a tad on the dramatic side but none the less, it was a realization that happened this past weekend and I panicked!

I logged into my previous blog and went to my Dashboard only to find that I couldn't edit or post anything.  So after few more steps, contacting my blog host and then my IT guy, I find out that my blog has been hacked and deleted!  Yep, you read that right, DE-LET-ED!  All my post, my photos, everything has completely gone away...As in, I-can't-retrieve-it, gone away .

So after taking a breather and nearly pulling my hair out, I have come to terms with the fact that I am starting out all over again.  Over the next few weeks or months, I will continue to post, or should I say, re-post all of my previous customer's images and images that have special meaning to me.

In the mean time, here's a starter picture that I captured recently on our trip to the coast.  I'll have a complete blog post about our trip in the following days.

Molly, my heart broke for you when I heard what happened to your first blog (that I didn't know was there in the first place) but apparently you had poured your heart into it and made it so special. Good luck with the new one! Before long, you'll have it just like you want it but I think it's great right now. I love your pictures so much. I think the first one I saw and thought, "This is fantastic," was the one of Arlie on the little old-fashioned tricycle a couple (maybe more) of years ago. Keep up the great work!

First of all, I didn't know you had a blog! How did I miss that? Or if I knew I forgot, so please forgive me :)

I've always loved your pictures and I'm excited for you starting out with this. You have a great eye for catching details and are so creative with catching a different angle or pose. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!
