In the backyard of a friend’s home in Wingate, N.C., Hanna took “Mrs. Sammons” as her new last name. Saturday, Aug. 30th. 2014, Josh and Hanna joined their life together before friends and family just beyond the graceful, ground sweeping branches from a beautiful Weeping Willow tree. Reflections from the evening sky danced across a beautiful pond on the farm as the ceremony turned into an evening of loved ones mingling in celebration of their wedding. Hanna & Josh were one of the most relaxed couples that I’ve worked with and truly enjoyed the fellowship of their new beginning. It was a hot and humid summer day but that only added the southern feel of this country wedding. Every detail was beautifully covered. Here is a recap of their day…In pictures. Enjoy!
Hanna chose a familiar place to enjoy preparing for her wedding. The home of a special lady in her life...Her grandma!
The time is drawing nearer...
Evidence that it is their day was all around the house.
The rings
friends by her side
Even though her grandmother wasn't able to be at the wedding, her presence was evident. This was her cane and rocking chair. I'm sure it rocked her a time or to when Hanna was young.
Loved these next two but couldn't decide which I liked best, b&w or color so I'm posting both. This is another shot to honor her grandmother. Taken in her grandmother's room, one her bed.
Josh pre-wedding looking all tough!
Just before the guest arrived.
Love the look on Josh's face as he saw his bride for the first time. And then the best man looking at the groom's reaction...
Weddings can be tough on daddy watching his little girl.
Love this picture of the mother of the bride!
My view from afar...
Congrats, Josh & Hanna! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding over the last few months. Wishing you many years of happiness together!
