Kristen & Jacob had a beautiful wedding, an outdoor ceremony at the home of where Jacob grew up. Saturday, April 28th, 2017 these two were married by the cross on his parent's front lawn. To me, it's the perfect setting for the beginning of a marriage...the cross, an anchor and a stable foundation to keep this couple grounded through both the good (and bad) times that they will face in the years ahead. The weather was sunny and 79 degrees, exactly the type of weather that makes you love the Carolinas this time of year. Looking back through my pictures, there are so many favorites. Here's their first day as husband and wife!
Oh my, there is a story that goes along with this shot. But, we'll save that for another day, all that matters is that horse in the background made for a pretty backdrop.

Meanwhile, Bobbie with Bobbie Brown Photography was my second shooter and was with Jacob Here, he and his buddys were hanging out for a while.

Time to get ready
Here, her mom is helping her with her shoes. Couldn't help but think, she's been there through it all. Helping Kristen all the way back to when she put on her first baby booties to now helping her with her wedding day shoes.

Thank you Kristen & Jacob for letting Bobbie and I capture your wedding. I wish you both many years of happiness together!
